Two properties are fundamental to performance: viscosity and open time.
Viscosity
Viscosity dictates how thick or thin the molten adhesive is. If the viscosity is too high for the pump, it strains the equipment and results in poor flow. Open Time

Set time is the duration between adhesive application and when the adhesive is no longer open. When the adhesive is set, substrates are unable to be easily repositioned without some destruction of substrate or reduction in bond strength.
